Working SPA 841s now return 404 Not Found for INVITES and OPTION packets from *
I don't know what's changed, but four SPA841s and a SPA3000 are no
longer answering when they get an inbound call from *.
This has been a working configuration for weeks. I *have* been fiddling
with the server config; however, the configuration is under version
control and I've reverted everything to exactly how it was when the
server wa...

snom 320 echo problems
Hi there -
I'm having some echo problems on my snom 320 phones. Anybody experience
this before ? I don't have any issues with the sipura 841s I have
though.
Any help is greatly appreciated.
Thanks !

CallPickup from SIP phone
So I'm having trouble getting call-pickup working. Got a few different
SIP phones (cisco 7940's and SPA-841s) all with pickupgroup=0 in sip.conf.
I can't seem to get it working. This *is* possible from SIP phones,
right? Do I need to add anything to my dial-plan?

Echo problem on SPA-841
I'm running the latest firmware on the SPA-841 and have a problem
with echo.
The echo occurs on all calls (PRI ISDN on a E110p or SIP) and is not
present when I use the SNOM190 phones so I can def. isolate it down
to the SPA-841s. The codec used is g711u and the phones are on their
own dedicated 100mbit switch with no other traffic. The server is a
3Ghz PIV sitting at 99.9% idle all the time.
Specifically, i believe I am getting feedback from the headset
speaker to the microphone, although the problem is also apparen...

Coming-off-hold delay/silence on Sipura 841 and Asterisk
...non-business hours, but
I'm considering it in the future.
I can't provide a ton of detail about the Asterisk version and
configuration at my service provider's end, as they admin it and I don't
know how to query what exactly it runs by normal VOIP channels. On my end I
use Sipura 841s (decent) and one Grandstream GXP2000 (total piece of junk).
I've weathered some hiccups recently from our SP upgrading their setup and
changing things. Normal operations are pretty stable now, though I
understand from them that we are on a slightly older version of Asterisk
than is presently...

connect Sipura with Asterisk - both behind NAT
Does anybody have a good link how to connect Sipura with Asteriks, both
behind NAT? I'm using FWD but their connection is like a weather
(especially IAX), I need something more reliable.
I was thinking of using stun and/or proxy but can not find any good link
explaining how to setup Linux server

Hardphone deployment recommendation
I'm looking to purchase and deploy a bunch of hardphones for agent
use. The phones will have to register with Asterisk and/or SER,
depending on where the phones go. They need only one line, G729 codec,
and no super fancy features. Preferrably something that is easy to
provision.
I would think the BudgeTone would be good, but then I've read so many
people complaining about them, and some
