It's cute that minimal changes are required to do that, but is this really useful? Now when I load HACKING into vim it displays the last 100+ lines in inverse video, which it didn't do before. Also, the winehq.org posts (yours above and http://bugs.winehq.org/show_bug.cgi?id=8287) don't match my experience with Irfanview. I am using ver. 4.10 on my Mac (Tiger) with wine and it works fine (beyond the "usual" X11 quirks). In fact, it works a bit faster than when running on a WinXP virtual machine on my Mac (VMWare). I have found that the newest version of...

Howto Graph throughput?
I have successfully implemented a QoS system using HTB on a 2Mb/s leased line and it works very well, but I would like to be able to graph the three pipes to see what they are doing, eg: using MRTG or similar. Has anyone any experience or examples of how to do this please? Thanks, Chris _______________________________________________ LARTC mailing list / LARTC@mailman.ds9a.nl

A little love for acts_as_taggable #8279
I was working with acts_as_taggable earlier and thought I could make it a bit friendlier. I submitted a ticket and patch #8279. Basically, there are three differences. 1. Fixed the deprecated :dependent => true 2. Added migration generator (it has really specific requirements on table layout, so might as well generate it). 3. Expanded the README to explain using the migration and to include

re-ordering a vector by name
Dear R-help, Let's say `x1' and `x2' are very long vectors (length=5e5, say) with same set of names but in different order. If I want to sort `x2' in the order of `x1', I would do x2[names(x1)] but the amount of time that takes is quite prohibitive! Does anyone have any suggestion on a more efficient way to do this? If the two vectors are exactly the same length (as I
