Hi all, I installed the estara softphone and had no problem registering it with asterisk. I could make calls to other hardware SIP phones (Cisco 7960) from the softphone, but I couldn't call the softphone from the Cisco 7960s. I added the playback line to my [macro-stdexten] context but when I dail an extension I don't get the "please hold while I try that extension" message. It just dials the extexsion. ...does it need to be configured? My problem is with running Apache Tomcat. When shorewall is running, it take a long time for the server to startup and shutdown. If I clear the Shorewall rules, it starts very fast. The packets that I see being used by Tomcat are: from 127.0.0.1->127.0.0.1 port 8005 and 192.168.1.10->192.168.1.10 port 8080. Any ideas on why Shorewall may be blocking these packets? Thanks.
