Linux 2.4.18 on RH 7.2 - odd failures
Hi there,
I'm using RH7.2 (with the 2.4.9-30 kernal and it's required components)
as a base for a server system running kernel 2.4.18. I've gone to this
version to get around non-performing aic7xxx drivers in the stock 7.2
kernels, and updated gigabit ethernet drivers.
I have a raid unit (Medea) attached to an Adaptec 3916, coming up as
sdb. It has 2kb blocks, but the fault I'm about to talk about is

ERROR: -91 after Kernel Upgrade
Hey guys,
I have a OCFS2 Cluster mounted at 4 xen-server (gentoo). Today I
upgraded the xen-kernel for tests at one server (server2) from

ocsfs2 device anymore.
ocfs2-tools version: sys-fs/ocfs2-tools-1.4.3
Modules are loaded and /config type configfs and /dlm type ocfs2_dlmfs

Linux disk quota support
Dear Listmembers,
I installed samba-3.0.28 and configured --with-quotas, but I don't seem
to be getting quota support. Is there a description on how to do quotas
with samba? Is there something I should know about besides the
configuration
option --with-quotas?
Thank you,

mount.ocfs2: Value too large ...
Hallo,
I have two servers and both are connected to external array, each by own SAS connection. I need these servers to work simultaneously with data on array and I think that ocfs2 is suitable for this purpose.
One server is P4 Xeon (Gentoo linux, i386, 2.6.22-r2) and second is Opteron (Gentoo linux, x86_64, 2.6.22-r2). Servers are connected by ethernet, adapters are both Intel EtherExpress1000.
Firstly, I compiled ocfs2 modules, which is provided with kernel and then I downloaded and compiled ocfs2-tools (1.2.6). In accordance with manual I mad...

Multi-databases support
Hi,
While I was hacking ovirt-server, I have found that it's currently
restricted to Postgres DB. Even if I like postgres for serious work on a
server, I really prefer to hack/dev locally on a Sqlite or MySQL DB.
I have googled on rails in order to find a good answer for the "foreign
key problem" which forces OVirt to stay on pg. I have found a plugin on
this particular
