Performance of guest
...39;s performance is not very good.
For example, when I use Windows without kvm, the “lol” fps is 160, but my guest is only 135.
why? I only have one guest
what is the reason?
What can we do to promote my performance?
There are my some settings for me.
timer: hypervclock
cpu: 8 socket(intel@ core i7 7700k)
memory: 16G
GPU: 1060
network: virtio
my environment:
libvirt: 4.2
qemu: 2.12
windows: windows 7
host: ubuntu server 1604
If you need my detailed settings, please let me know.

Host CPU usage high on guest network load (macvtap).
Hello,
Is it reasonable for one CPU on the host to be loaded 20-30% on 100 mbps
download in a guest?
There is barely any (1-2%) load in the guest. The host is running ubuntu
18.04 on an Intel i7-7700K, virtualization etc is enabled. Everything
except host load on guest network activity is fine.
This is how i setup the network with virt-install:
--network
type=direct,source=enp1s0,source_mode=bridge,model=virtio,mac=00:11:22:33:44:55
In the guest (ubuntu18.04 cloud minimal) i run a simple wge...

[Bug 1127] New: running nft command creates lag for forwarded packets
...y: P5
Component: nft
Assignee: pablo at netfilter.org
Reporter: karel at unitednetworks.cz
We have several routers with Gentoo x86-64 kernels 4.9.9 or 4.10.1 with about
150 nftables rules (nftables used are commit da3f503, date 2017-1-03). Hardware
used are Xeons or i7-7700K with 10Gbe Intel or Solarflare NICs. There are few
sets, maps and flows. Any nft command, be it listing sets, maps, flows or
writing rules creates lag for forwarded packets. In test case, ICMP packets
going through boxes have normally about 5ms latency. When running nft
(regardless command for list...
