Counterstrike Source, Gold Status?
...below 30fps if something happens. Yes it looks almost like the windows version, the ingame font looks different. But whats the point if you cant win any fight? Ive used the latest wine on gentoo and ubuntu(fresh install), my hardware: x2 3800+, 2gb ram, nvidia 8600gt In windows it breaks down to 70fps which is acceptable (16 players, big fight) remember - in wine it took "something" to drop below 30 which is nearly nothing...for example if you respawn with the others its already lagging. Just in case somebody tries to play it with wine - not possible. And if you run in someone from l...

VGA passthrough - GA-890FXA with ASUS EAH5750 video
...xm pci-attach command. After doing this I found Windows detected the video card so I loaded the video drivers in the VM and rebooted and now it is working well. Windows 7 reports the "Windows Experience Index" for Graphic and Gaming as 7.3/7.3 and id_perftest with Quake 4 was around 70fps at Ultra Quality 1920x1200. I am not much of a gamer but that is plenty fast for me! World of Warcraft freezes and stutters periodically
...ese stutters very often follow a mouse-click (for instance when selecting items, or speaking to NPCs), but not exclusively - the game also sometimes locks up while just running around. Also no difference between left or right click for the frequency of the problem. My frame rate is fine, maybe 50-70fps on average, and my network lag is also fine, about 40-60ms. I'm running 32 bit Ubuntu Gutsy 7.10 on an AMD 64 3500+ with 2GB RAM, using an Nvidia GeForce 7600 GS. I have disabled all my Addons to see if that helps, and it doesn't. I have also added the Wine registry edits and config.wtf a...

Problem with OpenGL
I'm using wine 20010326 to play Half Life. Works fine in software graphics mode, but not quite fast enough to be playable. In OpenGL mode, it runs at about 5 fps, and I get no textures. I have a Voodoo 3 3000 AGP. OpenGL works fine in native Linux (I get about 120 fps in the 'gears' program). Does anyone have any suggestions as to what I can do to get to the bottom of this? -- Steve

Aion 2.5.0.x on Sabayon 6
Guys I'm making this post because the wine tests details section get truncated but most of it was for Sabayon users: ---- -What Works- PvE, PvP, menu's etc... I was getting pretty good frames too depending on where and what I was doing between 30-90FPS I would say average PvE around 70FPS and in cities with PvP between 30-60FPS. What Doesn't Work 64-bit client (going to work on that next) The new "High Quality" engine (have to mess with that as well) Did Not Install Thru Wine I did not run the installer sorry but I'm not going to sit there for god knows how l...
