OT: Grandstream power supplies..
...ut.. When I looked online for a new one the choices are for regulated, unregulated and switch mode power supplies with the regulated and switch mode ones being VERY much more expensive than the unregulated ones.. Which kind would do the job?? Also most of the variable output adapters are 4.5v or 6v, Not the required 5v.. Any help would be appreciated.. Thanks.. -- ______________________________________________ http://www.linuxmail.org/ Now with e-mail forwarding for only US$5.95/yr Powered by Outblaze

Logwatch for postfix
On CentOS5 with the latest updates applied, the logwatch filter for postfix returns way too many lines from the log. I get an "unmatched entries" message and all messages that have gone through the system is listed. Here is an example: 8F930A8092: to=<morten at foo.bar>, orig_to=<morten at localhost>, relay=local, delay=0.19, delays=0.06/0.01/0/0.12, dsn=2.0.0,

OL/OB on RD
I have a unisys UPS, I probed the RS232 and notice that pin 2, (receive data) is going from -6v (OL) to 12v(OB), but I don't see the setting for the genericups. Seems nobody else is using the RD pin? Any driver I can use? Thanks -Andrew -------------- next part -------------- An HTML attachment was scrubbed... URL: http://lists.alioth.debian.org/pipermail/nut-upsuser/attachments/2006101...

Logic problem in NUT with upscode2 driver
...alculated state of charge is 64% even though the UPS is reporting a nominal battery voltage of 48v and the batteries are 2 volts ABOVE that. The problem I am having appears to be the logic in the upscode2 driver. For starters, the calculated state of charge is quite wrong. 48v on a bank of 8 6v batteries is normal, it IS fully charged, it is NOT 64% charged. 50.5 volts on a 48v bank of batteries should be almost 100% charged, not 64%. Worse, however, is if there's a power failure right near the end of the 2-days-off cycle. That happened to me last week - it was a short duration...

Megatec and Batteries
...ical and electrical characteristics. Battery is usually made out of three or six cells in one standardized package - this is what you know as one battery. This packed battery has two very important electrical characteristics for your UPS: nominal voltage (V) and capacity (Ah). Usually you will meet 6V (3 cell) and 12 V (6 cell) batteries in UPS. This represents nominal voltage of battery. In 70% of ups devices usually is used battery of 12V/7Ah in some rare cases 12V/9Ah or 6V/4.5Ah. Depending on ups power rating in output different number of batteries is used and common values are: UPS Te...

Tripp Lite SU5000RT3U
Hi, I am trying to configure my Tripp Lite SU5000RT3U on Ubuntu 18.04 as I am not able to completely get all the data from the UPS. After installing all required packages from the Ubuntu repos (had to run sudo apt-get install dkms, I had to install the displaylink drivers from displaylink.org by doing sudo ./displaylink-driver-4.2.29.run, and I created a sim link by doing the following: sudo ln

...ut.voltage and battery.voltage, but there is some weird scaling (or maybe even nonlinearity) going on with the input voltage. Does a nominal AC voltage of 208V or 240V sound right? The driver would probably calculate nominal battery voltage as 48V (using the "08" from ups.debug.V, times 6V). With the value above, you would have 0x87 * 48 / 12.0 = 54.0 Volts. > ups.debug.L: 31 31 35 41 30 31 0d '115A01.' Load might be 17% (0x11). tripp lite SMART2200RMXL2U -- empty ups.status
Hello. I'm new to nut and don't know if I've missed something in setting it up or if my ups isn't quite supported. I'm using these: - svn version of nut (downloaded on 9/13/06) - a tripp lite SMART2200RMXL2U - debian sarge with 2.6.8 kernel - the tripplite_usb driver (newhidups says my ups is not supported) I figured out how to get the device perms correct.

apcupsd, APC UPSs, and batteries, resolved
Well, here's the tale: we got a "replacement kit" for some APC SmartUPS 3000 - rackmount UPSs. The "kit", costing about half of what APC is asking, is just the batteries, and you pull the tray out, open it up, and swap out the batteries. Except, I did this on one... and the replace battery light never went out. Not using apcupsd's apctest, not pushing the button. The

How to Order Disconnect Supervision from SBC using Adit 600?
Can anyone help me with the term that SBC uses to refer to disconnect supervision? I have an Adit 600 channel bank which has helped improve the disconnect detection time down to about 8 seconds. This is still causing some issues in particular with call progress enabled in * we are having a few disconnects while calls are in session (about 2 reported in first 5 days of use). I have talked both to
