krb5-1.10.3-10.el6_4.6.src.rpm
Hello,
I download krb5-1.10.3-10.el6_4.6.src.rpm<http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/6Server/en/os/SRPMS/krb5-1.10.3-10.el6_4.6.src.rpm>from
http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/6Server/en/os/SRPMS/.
In Cenos 6.5, I use following instructions:
rpm -i krb5-1.10.3-10.el6_4.6.src.rpm
rpmbuild -ba /home/mockbuild/rpmbuild/SPECS/krb5.spec

The "make" command will build all components. If they don't exist yet,
they will be git cloned from https://github.com/nkadel/. The

The source RPMs for devtoolset don't appear to be there, but I did find
them here:

qemu-kvm-rhev
I recently ran into some problems using certain oVirt (3.3) features
on CentOS 6.4 hosts.
The solution was to use the qemu-kvm-rhev version from the EL6 RHEV repository:
http://ftp.redhat.com/pub/redhat/linux/enterprise/6Server/en/RHEV/SRPMS/qemu-kvm-rhev-0.12.1.2-2.355.el6_4.9.src.rpm
It seems that this tree is not carried/built by CentOS.
Are there any plans on the CentOS for carrying these packages?
Some background information:

Hi,
Can you tell me what ate differences in the source code between the original Red Hat yum and the one which Centos uses for updates?

Missing sources in CentOS 6.0
...ave looked on many mirrors, all with the same result, which leads me to believe that this is simply missing on all CentOS mirrors.
I have checked other distributions to see if the result is consistent, but Red Hat provides the SRPMS in their repository:
ftp://ftp.redhat.com/redhat/linux/enterprise/6Server/en/os/SRPMS/bash-4.1.2-3.el6.src.rpm
As do other rebuild-distributions like Scientific Linux:
http://mirrors.200p-sf.sonic.net/scientific/6.0/SRPMS/vendor/bash-4.1.2-3.el6.src.rpm
I have noticed this same anomoly with the following packages:

Johnny,
Recently on ftp.redhat.com a src rpm for chromium-browser appeared. It
has since disappeared. It was located in 6Workstation, 6Client and
6Server.
Does this have anything to do with your request for a chromium-browser
src.rpm ?

low latency kernel?
Someone recently posted on the x2go list that he had a problem with
jerky videos playing remotely on Ubuntu, but solved it by installing a
low latency kernel that was available as an alternative. That made me
curious as to whether CentOS has an equivalent - or a way to build
something similar.

How to restrict reboot/poweroff from non-admins?
I just noticed that CentOS (6.2) by default allows any user to
reboot/poweroff system without any admin rights, or without any further
questions, if using commands 'reboot' or 'poweroff'. But 'shutdown' still
requires admin rights.
What is the preferred way to restrict any regular user from rebooting /
powering off the system (by accident)?
IMHO, sudo should be

NOTICE: RHEL 6.3 preview package repository has been removed
...d, I have removed the RHEL 6.3 preview
repository (the one located at people.redhat.com/~rjones). If you
added this as a yum repo, you can remove it and things should continue
to work.
The official, cryptographically-signed source RPM is located here:

(keys: https://access.redhat.com/security/team/key/)
Scientific Linux has recompiled this and it's available on their
mirrors (in 6rolling/testing dir). I don't see the package available
for CentOS yet but it'll surely be along soon.

Are these packages still available for RHEL6/CentOS6? If so then
where does one get them? If not then have they been replaced with
something else? There does not seem to be a listing for them at epel.

PUPPET VERSION 3 INSTALLATION ON CENTOS 6.3 64 bit SERVER
Hi:
I am new to the puppet world and did a search but did not find what I
needed.
I am trying to install puppet on a server that is not connected to the
internet.
I am not sure of what to install as it seems there are other requirements
besides puppet to include different ruby, facter and possibly hiera
requirements.
Can someone please explain what is required and possibly provide rpm

Changing from RHEL to CentOS
I have a RHEL system and I'm thinking of changing to CentOW. How can
this be done most easily. It is important that the e-mail setup not be
disturbed, since it was crafted to work with an IP that requires
authentication.
Thanks,
