SCSI schizophrenia
...tape drive but a real problem these days backing
up. I ***may*** have connected the SCSI connector to the 'other'
external connector when shifting stuff around in the rack.

And why is the size 1,0M, tmp is not an own partion. Should i increase
the size? And if yes, how?

Rescan /dev/sd* without reboot?
I increased the SAN partition size for a given volume. Is there a way
I can have fdisk recognize the new size without a reboot?

Disable specific LUN on a SCSI bus
Hi all,
do you know if there is a way at boot time do disable specific LUN's on a SCSI
bus of a particular controller?
I'm trying to write an udev rule, but it seems that the system ignores the
"vendor" model/name of the controller...
For example: I want to disable /dev/sdb; so I gather some information with
udevinfo -a -p /sys/block/sdb and I try to use them to write

So there are problems with filesystem(ext3).
df -h /var/spool/postfix/active

mount | grep sda5
/dev/sda5 on / type ext3 (rw)
/var/spool is a local filesystem, there are no nfs shares mounted on
server. Also nfs, nfslock, autofs services are disabled.
I've run fsck on / 3 days ago, there have been errors which I repaired
