problem with mssql and Asterisk 1.8.0 beta3
Hi all,
I am testing with Asterisk 1.8.0 beta3 using realtime with a mssql server using freetds and unixodbc, which works with 1.6.1.20.
With the same config in 1.8 I get an error when trying to start asterisk which says:
[Aug 23 15:06:12] WARNING[7180]: loader.c:387 load_dynamic_module: Error loading module 'res_config_odbc.so': /usr/lib/asterisk/modules/res_config_odbc.so: undefined

Polycom phones and ring no answer/302 Moved Temporarily
...ireshark, I never see a 302 SIP message issued. I can't find anything in the phone settings that look like it would disable this.
Anyone else with a Polycom set that sees this, or does not see this and has "forward no answer" working?

Really, really loud ringers
...huge loudspeakers that someone had wired right into the speakers of the old digital phones. I haven't figured out yet if they need a different voltage, or even if they still work; they were not responding when I replaced the attached phones.

DTMF tones too long, for once
...ey.
I see plenty of posts out there on increasing tone length, but nothing on reducing it. There may be other issues; I've called the number a few times when testing and received a voicemail prompt instead of their main message, a few times.

Lots of calls, less memory
...that it is in part memory pressure.
I can't add RAM and have it help, because it's 32-bit. I intend to move to a 64-bit machine, but I was hoping to wait until summer. Does anyone have any immediate tips for dealing with this sort of rush?

Slow and unpredictable Samba performance?
Hi!
I've installed Solaris 10 x86 (Core2Duo - x64) server, with Samba over ZFS
RAID-Z. Samba is a part of Active Directory Domain. I've managed to join it
to domain, to get the users and groups from A.D. and to translate them to
Unix IDs. Everything works really good. Samba is installed from the packages
from Solaris 10 DVD.
Only problem I have is the performance :( It's

[PATCH net-next] net: make ndo_get_stats64 a void function
The network device operation for reading statistics is only called
in one place, and it ignores the return value. Having a structure
return value is potentially confusing because some future driver could
incorrectly assume that the return value was used.
Fix all drivers with ndo_get_stats64 to have a void function.
