CVE-2019-6470 - dhcpd6 bug in CentOS 8 not being fixed?
The CVE-2019-6470 bug in isc-dhcp for ipv6 causing the server to crash on a
regular basis is marked as "will not fix" for RHEL 8 on Red Hat's web site
[1]. It's already got a fix for RHEL/CentOS 7, and other distros (like
Ubuntu and Fedora) have released fixes.
Is anyone familiar with the issue, o...

Windows architecture fact
We recently fixed the hardwaremodel and architecture facts on Windows
as they were always returning i386[1]. The change will be in the
upcoming 1.6.10 release of Facter[2]. The new behavior is that
hardwaremodel will return something like i686, ia64, x64, etc, while
the architecture fact will return either x86 or x64.
Since the new behavior will likely affect puppet users that are trying

Config File Storage
I'm trying to think of a way to store/represent the Asterisk .conf files. One method is to store them in MySQL in some format, and then write some scripts to query MySQL and generate the conf files before doing a reload.
MySQL is pretty heavy handed though. I'm looking for something a bit more lightweight, maybe.... some sort of XML based database for Linux, where the config files could
