Dual Band Wireless
Hi, Because of heavy interference in the 2.5GHz range in my neighbourhood, I want to switch to wireless dual band (5GHZ) and wireless ac. Do you have any suggestions for USB wireless adapters for CentOS 6.5 that work with dual band and ac? Also, if you have any suggestions on wireless routers for these bands I would like to hear about them....

Can't move to Centos 8
...with the "cake" traffic control > module, something the old kernel in CentOS 7 lacks. > Funny you mentioned the OpenWrt: I have been using one as access point and realized I not only forgot how to but cannot find info (I remember seeing it years ago) on how to run the 2.4 and 5GHz as separate networks. Well, I can't even get the internal dhcp to work, having to forward all that to my bind/dhcp vm guest. Shame on me, as if I get that working I can then think on putting a vpn between wireless and internal networks which is something I really should be doing. > I'm...

WLAN support
Hi folks! First post here, so please don't bother if it's not the right place to post those kind of questions. I'm currently running a 4.7-release (upgrade to 4.8 planned but not yet started) on my production box. As I would like to setup a small WLAN (major use for my notebook, other clients are possible) I need to know which cards are really supported. The handbook is IMHO not

[Bug 1439] New: Atomically updating/reloading a large set with nft -f is excessively slow
...s. When you first load that file, it's a matter of seconds (or less). But if you try to load the set another time in order to reload it (the script contains a flush set statement at the top), it takes excessively long. For reference: On an 8th generation Intel Core i7 with a turbo frequency of 5GHz, reloading the file takes over 3 minutes(!) as opposed to ~0.6s when loaded initially. If you do this on less powerful hardware, such as a dual-core 1GHz ARMv7 SoC, first loading the file takes a few seconds, but the second time seems to take forever - I aborted the experiment after 45 minutes! The...
