WoW Performance - Degrades over Time
...in the WoW forums, but it's been suggested that I post here as well, as I'm more likely to get someone who has a clue :) PROBLEM ====== After an extended play time in one area (~ 1 hour), or rapid travel between areas, the performance degrades substantially. It goes from 60+ FPS to about 5FPS and doesn't recover until I restart the game. A restart brings an instant performance boost, even in the same area I just logged out. Fragment interface on Intel
Hi It seem that the fragment interface on certain plugins exceeds the amount of fragment operations possible on Intel GMA cards. This only occurs with the "water" and "blur" plugins. the plugins activate OK and do not report a missing GL_ARB_fragment_program in the server extensions. OT: Video Surveillance SW on CentOS
I suggested to our Homeowners Association that we begin a Private Forum (phpBB) and web site. That suggestion has been well received and we will proceed with that. Limiting bandwidth to around max. 8k per second - possible? UPDATE
Ok, we got it working with 176x144 resolution. The following string produced an image that was not falling behind too much for too long - basically a little when it was getting TONS of movement, and then catching up fast. "65 58 110 0 1 1 90 8 120 1 1 " Now, we need to get this working on a 320x240 resolution, too (as sadly VP3 does not support 160x120. Seems to be a little senseless,
