(Yet another) Music on hold problemand another...
Type 'mpg123' at the Linux CL. (no quotes) If the version is anything other than 59r, you problem is solved. Go to the Wiki and search for Music On Hold. Do the install of version 59r ONLY as described in the docs. Redhat 9 Music on hold
...an exten with MusicOnHold(30), and it plays just fine. Conferences have music when no one is in. I have SIP phones. When I place a call on hold, the CLI give no indication the call is on hold. I have set musiconhold(default) everywhere, removed it from everywhere, nothing seems to help. I am using 59r of MPG123, and do not have MPG321 installed. I did a 'make mpg123' from asterisk, make no difference. Please help!! This is driving me crazy!

problem with musiconhold
Hi everybody, I'm receiving the message "res_musiconhold.c:309 monmp3thread: Request to schedule in the past?!?!" in asterisk console when I try to put a call on hold. I don't the reason and I'm sure the relative module is loaded. In musiconhold.conf I put these lines, trying something I found in some previous post: ; ; Music on hold class definitions ; [classes]

Music on Hold - can it be done without mpg123?
I have been having periodic trouble with mpg123. I have tried .59r & .59s and perhaps others a while back and still get the 'broken pipe' and zombie mpg123s (although I think I saw something about a fix in the changelog) once and a while. Is it currently possible to configure moh to run directly on the wav files? Now-a-days hard drives are so big, why...

music on hold issue
Hello, I am quite new to asterisk (I've been playing with it for just about 2 weeks). I am trying to do music on hold, but I get this error: res_musiconhold.c:309 monmp3thread: Request to schedule in the past?!?! I have read on some forums that usually this message comes when all resources are tied up, but top gives 0%. The server is Intel 2.4 Ghz with 512 MB RAM. Any suggestions? Thank
