Error Message: MCMCpack and coda
Hello All,
I'm trying to run a one-dimenional irt model using the packages MCMC and

Hi all,
Does anybody have a hint on what may be going wrong in this R code? I
mimic the sample code from the MNP developers but I seem unable to get the
choice specific variables right.
Thanks,

multinomial probit
Hello All,
I'm trying to run a multinomial probit on a dataset with 28 data
points and five levels (0,1,2,3,4) in the latent choice involving
response variable.
I downloaded the latest mnp package to run the regression. It starts
the calculation and then crashes the rpogram. I wish I could give the
error message but it literally shuts down R without a warning.
I'm using the R

Indexing Mail faster
Hi,
I am trying to get faster search results on our webmail client(Roundcube).
Besides using Lucene for FTS are there other options?
Would having all mails indexed give fast results?
Currently the time it takes to search 25,000mails is 4mins. If indexed how
much faster are we looking at?
Really appreciate if someone could advise about this.
Thanks
Kevin

Segmentation fault early in compilation of revision 85514
When trying to compile R on Windows 10 64-bit using LTO as I always do, I
encountered a segmentation fault early in the compilation. I am uncertain
as to what it means (please see below for error extract). I am using the
most recent version of Rtools43 (5863) and updated its libraries prior to
starting the build. My EOPTS is " -march=native -pipe -mno-rtm" and my
LTO/LTO_OPT/LTO_FC/LTO_FC_OPT is "-flto=1 -fuse-linker-plugin".
Any explanation or suggestions would be appreciated.
Thank you,
Avi

GlusterFS OOM Issue
Hello,
I am running GlusterFS version 3.2.7-2~bpo60+1 on Debian 6.0.6. Today, I
have experienced a a glusterfs process cause the server to invoke
oom_killer.
How exactly would I go about investigating this and coming up with a fix?

[LLVMdev] MergeFunctions: reduce complexity to O(log(N))
Hi Stepan,
Sorry for the delay. It's great that you are working on MergeFunctions
as well and I agree, we should definitely try to combine our efforts to
improve MergeFunctions.
Just to give you some context, the pass (with the similar function
merging patch) is already being used in a production setting. From my
point of view, it would be better if we focus on improving its
capability
