General IMAP question
Software is Centos7, Dovecot 2.2.10 >Use that single mailbox with IMAP, others stay to POP Thanks, I considered that and looked up the ways to restrict IMAP access. But: How will the IMAP account behave with the current mail_location setting below? mail_location = mbox:~/mail:INBOX=/var/mail/%u That is, where will the IMAP account's mail "go"? Right now it goes to

One fs with quota, one without: incorrect data shown
Hello all, I'm using Dovecot 1.0.15 on a Solaris 10. There are two different FS in place for IMAP: /var/mail for inbox /export/home for the mail folders The first doesn't have quota, the second does. However, I've noticed that Thunderbird does display quota information on the inbox (that doesn't make any sense, the values are incorrect). The same incorrect values are shown for

Wine and /home partition woes on Gentoo/amd64
I apologize if the question has been posed before, but I did not find any similar posts by browsing or searching through the forums. Here it goes: I have been using Gentoo Linux for a year now, and never have I had a problem I couldn't solve. However, not long ago I bought a 1 TB hard disk which I divided into 7 partitions: /boot, (swap), /, /var, /tmp, /usr and /home (yes, that's FreeBSD

Resizing est4 filesystem while mounted
Greetings - I had a logical volume that was running out of space on a virtual machine. I successfully expanded the LV using lvextend, and lvdisplay shows that it has been expanded. Then I went to expand the filesystem to fill the new space (# resize2fs -p /dev/vde1) and I get the results that the filesystem is already xx blocks long, nothing to do. If I do a # df -h, I can see that the
