Dell problems with PXELINUX 3.62
...and it failed in exactly the same way.
Could you kindly confirm that you have _any_ PXELINUX and/or MEMDISK
versions that work with this image? Perhaps there is a complication
outside of the Syslinux Suite? A BIOS upgrade?
For the curious, here's MEMINFO.C32:

swap being used?
I have a machine with 64GB of memory in our lab. We have memory
demanding processes and natually swap gets used. However when these
processes are gone and the system is idle, we still see swap being
used. Is this normal behavior?
TIA

Memdisk lower memory usage
Greetings,
I had a quick question about lower memory usage by memdisk. I've read
through the mail archives and found a couple of posted questions but
unfortunately no answers. I know the documentation states:
"MEMDISK simulates a disk by claiming a chunk of high memory for the disk
and a (very small - 2K typical) chunk of low (DOS) memory for the driver
itself, then hooking the INT 13h

Indexing Performance Question (was tpop3d vs dovecot)
...ly a full 10 minutes at 100% io load to scan the 71570 files
(748M) directory and build the index files from scratch which look like this:

-rw------- 1 postfix postdrop 1.9M Feb 1 00:57 dovecot.index.cache
-rw------- 1 postfix postdrop 560K Feb 1 00:43 dovecot.index.log

How to backup a slice ? - newbie
... though I tried, read and typed the last 4 hours; still no clue.
Please, can anyone give a clear idea on how this works:
Get the content of c0d1s1 to c0d0s7 ?
c0d1s1 is pool home and active; c0d0s7 is not active.
I have followed the suggestion on
http://www.opensolaris.org/os/community/zfs/demos/zfs_demo.pdf
% sudo zfs snapshot home at backup
% zfs list
