Hi there, I'm having a wierd problem where the driver for one printer displays a different UI from a samba server, compared to any other MS machine sharing the same printer. I'm running an ubuntu box with samba 3.0.28a-1ubuntu4.4. The printer is a Ricoh Afficio 5560. I've tried copying the driver files from a win2k3 server to my samba box and installing the driver manually with rpcclient. The UI still has the same problems. Hi, Sorry if I'm reaching the wrong forum, please advise if so. My question is not about the main focus of this community, but I had no better idea about where to look for the relevant expertise. So: this Dell Precision 5560 laptop is built with a "T1200 Laptop GPU", and I suspect it draws power even though I don't ever use it, heating the computer and shortening battery life. I am upgrading a server that mounts in a rack. Its going on the cheapest socket 775 CPU I can buy and in a 1u rack case. All its for is keeping some log files and doing some simple MYSQL/PHP database stuff. Not a work horse at all. Anyway, is it better to go 64bit or 32bit for the CentOS 5.x install?
