Bug#481105: [PATCH] adjust patch to pygrub and hvmloader
I just tripped over this issue with pygrub. The code is written such that saying bootloader="pygrub" should cause the correct path to be used, the attached patch simply fixes this path to be correct. I don't have an HVM capable test machine handy (so I can't actually confirm this works) but I think changing the default "kernel" for an HVM guest to point to the correct

Interesting mechanize difficulty
I found an interesting page today that I was trying to script against. The server returns a 404 with content and the page just works normally in firefox despite the 404. Mechanize raises an exception on it though. I''m working on a test case now.

poor samba performance with many smaller files
Hi, I did use wireshark to verify that the client (window7) is not the problem, client is sending out multiple "SMB2 Create request" packets before he gets some answer. On the server side samba is processing this requests in a synchronous way, in order which they were send, that is what I see from strace output. Get MEMDISK parameters from WinPE 32/64-bit?
Hi. I'm working on replacing a PXELINUX/MEMDISK loaded DOS based installation image with a PXELINUX/MEMDISK loaded WinPE ISO image. So far everything seems to work well (appending "bigraw" to memdisk solved booting problems on several machines), but I kind of miss the option of using getargs.com to get/set environment variables from the memdisk command line. Is there any way to

Request for code review: the brendan() action
This came up as an RFE during the conference (I believe it''s been logged as "4012008: brendan() action needed for DTrace Toolkit".) As everyone here is aware, DTrace is not quite as user friendly as it could be. For the uninitiated, it can be confusing to run a DTrace script and not see the expected output. Brendan Gregg has addressed this in the DTrace Toolkit[1] by

Alternative GUI
Hey All, I'm considering moving from CentOS 6 to CentOS 7. I'm not interested in dealing with Gnome 3. I've heard good things about Mate, a fork of Gnome 2. it appears that Mate is available in the EPEL repository associated with CentOS 7. Have any of you tried Mate on CentOS 7? In your experienced opinion what would I be giving up by abandoning Gnome 3 and installing Mate
