SuSE Linux Enterprise Server OpenSSH 5.1p1 nagle issue?
I have a system in place where it appears that TCP will make a massive change in behavior mid-stream with existing SSH sessions. We noticed the issue first with an application using an SSH forward. However, we were able to rule that out by generating the same TCP characteristics by having a perl script dump text out to a terminal simulating a large data flow from the far end(ssh server) back

Asterisk 1.4.2 tanking CPU
Using a quad core 1.86GHz Xeon CPU here, running Asterisk 1.4.2. Noticed the following: Cpu(s): 4.3% us, 95.4% sy, 0.0% ni, 0.2% id, 0.0% wa, 0.0% hi, 0.0% si 30908 asterisk 18 0 188m 10m 5152 S 400 0.3 51051:13 asterisk Asterisk is eating up all the cores running the CPU at 400%. Is there something broken in 1.4.2 that needs to be addressed? Any suggestions? There's currently zero calls going on. - sf

Samba 3.0.14 (Debian Sarge) Memory Leakage
Hi! Our Samba file server seems to have a memory leakage. We are using samba as file server out of the box (debian sarge) on kernel 2.6.16.31. After a while users who have some shares and files open are acquiring more and more memory until the smbd dies. The same process worked just fine with the GUI virtual machine manager under OpenSUSE 11.1.
