c6 xen guest install, golf, and geany
List,
Is it possible to do a text install (<512RAM) of C6 server, with support for X11 forwarding over ssh, and get geany (editor) to work over ssh?
I got X11 forwarding to work when I have a full Xfce desktop, but not with a server setup.
I would like to golf this... IOW find the minimum number of packages.
Any hints or kickstart configs for th...

To Chris Boyd,
I also get the nearly same problem, CentOS 4.4 running on ThinkCentre
(P4 2.8GH, 512RAM, 40GB HDD) slow down after several hours.
I tested on 3 IBM PCs with the same configuration so I think
something's wrong b/w IBM hardware and CentOS
Have you fixed your problem?
Cheers,
Thuong

...UTF-8
8: La stringa di caratteri verr? probabilmente troncata
Esecuzione interrotta
if i try the same code on a subregion of my data, it works very fine!
but for a large region i've this error :-(
obviously i think that is a memory problem, right ?
(i'm working with a notebook PPC-1.33-512ram)
my data are : 7 raster-map on a region of about 50X40 km at a
resolution of 20m.
is there some wolkaround about the memory problems?
an other question is:
what is this :
Warning messages:

Remote HD boot?
...SYSLINUX package seems to be by far the easiest to work with.. (thanks)
My question would be: Is it possible to boot a diskless client PC with Complete hard disk images? or even better hard disk contents mounted on the server?
I am currently running an HP LC2000/r server (2 x 1GHz CPU's, 512RAM, 6 x 9GB SCSI drives) with Red Hats standard V9 distribution.
This 1 box is running DHCP (ISC v.3) And TFTP (v.?).
This has served me well with PXELINUX booting floppy images.
The clients I generally run range from IBM 1.8GHz Netvista's ,2.8GHz ThinkCentre's & The IBM Thinkpad T2x S...

FXO port on TDM400P hangs!!
Hello everyone.
This is a message I've sent before on Sunday, no one replied so I'm
reposting it (guess not everyone's at work 7/7)
I've got this really annoying and beyond-my-knowledge-to-debug problem. The
line connected to my FXO port gets marked "out of order" by my telco
operator. I don't know how to explain this further. If I dial my own number
from a
