...d some applets) and firefox crash sometimes. Sawfish in addition to the two above draws garbage. krxvt and gkrellm work very fine. Whether /lib/tls is disabled or not doesn''t affect the symptom. Xen is 2.0.5 and dom0 is Debian Sarge with 2.6.10 kernel built locally. Machine is PentiumIII/500Mhz and lspci -v output is attached. Also attached kernel .config. Aside from this issue, Xen is working very well, currently with one domU running named. I''m planning to move other services to domU''s. Thanks for the great software. -- Takeshi ___________________________________...

Corrupted RPM DB can't be rebuilt.
Alle, I have a major problem. I'm running CentOS 5.5 on some rather old hardware (Dual Celeron 500MHz with 768MB of memory). Sometime in the last week, the DB became corrupted (I noticed when yum update would hang). I've tried running rpm --rebuild with both the 2.6.18-194.17.4 and 2.6.18-194.26.1 kernels and get a segmentation fault each time. Consequently, I'm pretty much stuck and cann...

Problem with T100P card in a new chassis
...t be something with this particular motherboard or hardware configuration, but is there anything I can do to solve the problem? Searches through the archives and Google do not show anything relevant on this error message that I was able to find. Hardware Specs: - Intel 440GX+ motherboard - 500mhz PIII processor - 1u case (horizontal PCI card - no, it's not shorting out) If I run asterisk -vvvvvvvvgcd I get a whole slew of these lines (all identical) in the stderr output: DEBUG[13326]: File chan_zap.c, Line 6201 (pri_dchannel): Got event No event (0) on D-channel for span 1 From...

How Many Calls On This Config
We have a test server that runs a single PIII 500MHz(256MB RAM) under Slackware, and we can get 12 SIP -> Zap calls running on it just fine. Over that and we have seen intermittant errors like call quality and very high load spikes. You should be able to get at least 24 SIP -> Zap on that setup. Post on the list when you do max it out. It's...

File contents not saving
To Support Team, Everytime I try to save a file from my Linux Machine, to my WINDOWS 98 Second Edition PC, the file properties overwrite the existing file's properties, but the file contents itself doesn't seem to save. At the moment I am running Samba 1.9.18, on a Celeron 500MHZ machine. I've tried reinstalling Windows, changed motherboards, and tried different hardrives. What do you Suggest? Should I try running a later version of Samba? Thankyou Simon Marafioti smarafioti@affairs.net.au PH: (08) 8392 8426

Error report on empty matrices (PR#435)
Dear R developers: When using R.0.99a (Version 0.99.0 Patched (February 9, 2000), source compiled with gcc under SuSE 6.2) on a PIII 500Mhz Machine under SuSE 6.2 Linux I found the following bug: x <- matrix(0,10,0) rbind(x,2) causes an R-crash with the message "Gleitkomma-Ausnahme" (floating point exception) which is probably due to the non-applicability of the recyling rule. The same occors when using x<-...

Disappearing values (PR#551)
...he installation of R, and they had some problems when tuning it for alphaev6, but it all went smoothly when tuning for alphaev56, and that is the build I'm running. This is basically the stuff I sent to Uwe yesterday. I have been testing it on three different machines: alnair, a XP1000 with a 500MHz alphaev6 processor and 619 MB RAM rukbat, a PWS500au with a 500MHz alphaev56 processor with 238 MB RAM mirfak, a DEC255/233 with a 233MHz (?) alphaev4 (?) processor with 245MB (RAM is according to top). All show the same problems consistently. I'm not using the match.arg()-approach anymore, BT...

Updating kernel driver module questions
I am running CentOS 4.7, presently on an older box (PIII slot 1 processor @ 500mhz with 384meg of RAM, using SCSI disks with an AHA-2940 host controller). The motherboard is an ASROCK thing with nVideo's chipset: nv's SATA con...

Strange battery power shortage on an Unitek iZi UPS 525
...on a Unitek iZi UPS 525 (which is a rebadged Mustek). Everything worked fine and last week, when pressed by RENEL :-) I ran a battery test which showed the system to have 17min of back-up power (yes, still haven't figured out how to use upssched...) The system used for testing was an old PIII/500MHz/512KB cache, 256MB RAM (3 x SDRAM 100MHz) 1 x 8GB hdd IDE and a 250W PS. For various reasons I've switched to a new system consisting of one Duron 900MHz, 1 piece of 512MB RAM DDR1 and a 12GB IDE (same family as the previous 8GB). After reinstall, an upgrade to "nut-2.2.0-6.1.fc8", co...
