Best source for creating multiple streams
Carl, are you saying that I need ices2 for two mount points?
I don't have an ices-playlist.xml file, I only have an
/etc/icecast2/Icecast.xml file.

Icecast 2 on ubuntu 14 - service will not start using /etc/init.d
...not sure what I other than start the service manually, stopped it
using the /etc/init.d/icecast2 stop.
Then, I checked to see if it was still 'active and running' and it
wasn't.
I ran /etc/init.d/icecast2 start and it started.
Thanks for the pointers.

Open the /etc/default/icecast2 file as root in an editor. The last line
needs to be changed to
ENABLE=true
It still looks like it is set to
ENABLE=false

Best source for creating multiple streams
How do you create different logs files for each stream?

With IceS2 this is easily accomplished by copying the 'ices-playlist.XML'
file

Interesting, I manually started the icecast2 and I shut it down using
the /etc/init.d/icecast2 stop.

icecast2 will not start from the /etc/init.d
I can start it fine from the command line using icecast -c icecast.xml
we have ver 2.4.
When I try and start it using /etc/init.d/icecast2 start it says [ ok ]
Starting icecast2 (via systemctl): icecast2.service.
but it actually doesn't start. nothing in the error logs, nothing in
syslog.
Any ideas would be appreciated.

Where do I set the <errorlog>-</errorlog>?
In the /etc/init.d/icecast file?

Yes, Philipp, it does help. Thanks for the clarification. I'll try it
and see what happens.
