Dear R-experts, I have a data file df as the following: genename variable at 1hr variable at 4 hr variable at 10 hr gene1 gene2 . . . gene5000 I would like to have a graph with X-axis as the time point (1hr, 4hr, 10hr), and Y-axis as the value of the variable. So I installed Ubuntu 22.04 in a VM, now I have a useless ISP router, where some bright spark thought it would be a good idea to cripple the dhcp server on it. This isn't a problem with Debian, but it sure is with Ubuntu 22.04. It took me about 3/4hr googling and configuring before I could update. The update took a couple of hours and then when it rebooted, it wouldn't start again. I give up with Ubuntu, are you prepared to accept Debian running with a Gnome desktop and GDM ? Rowland
