Problem with tinc on Windows XP SP2
...driver from openvpn 2.0 beta2 since
they were the only working drivers. Now here is the errormessage i
recieve when I try to start tinc:
C:\Programme\tinc>tincd -D -n hive
tincd 1.0.2 (Nov 8 2003 14:19:06) starting, debug level 0
Could not get MAC address from Windows tap device
{4913D822-DDD5-4C4B-BDBC-75274
07DA5C6} (VPN): wrong parameters.
Not restarting.
I think this has somehow to do with the new security enhancing code in
SP2, since with SP1 it worked.
Thanks for your time,
Tim Schumacher

Relative Newbie with a SIP/NAT issue
...not the call is answered. I have
verified that the call is taking place as he can ring a separate PSTN
line from his softphone via SIP over the X100P.
The error, just prior to the disconnect:
WARNING[40966]: File chan_sip.c, Line 408 (retrans_pkt): Maximum retries
exceeded on call BED9714C-B16B-4C4B-AD55-2FD1B1E51B77@192.168.1.2 for

-- Hungup 'Zap/1-1'
I notice his inside IP is listed in this error message, leading me to
believe that this has something to do with NAT....
On my end, I have port forwarded the pollowing ports to the * box from
the router: 5060,...
