[Fwd: Rails AR/Oracle Unit Test: [4185] failed]
So my automated script caught this issue, though I think my email headers were bad, so rails-core has put the automated email on hold pending "moderation". I''ll fix that issue, and look at the one below as well. -------- Original Message -------- Subject: Rails AR/Oracle Unit Test: [4185] failed Date: Thu, 6 Apr 2006 08:32:04 -0700 From: Michael Schoen

--with-acl-support
Dear Andrew Tridgell, i cant compile the 2.2.1-9 package --with-acl-support, beacuse HAVE_SYS_ACL_H has wrong settings somewhere. i cant fix the bug, i just comment out the #ifdef HAVE_SYS_ACL_H line in the source/include/includes.h for a (i hope) good compilation. i use acl 1.1.2 from sgi, and the latest debian woody packages. Network performance
I'm running RHEL/CentOS 3 (2.4.21-47.ELsmp) with Broadcom NIC and BASP bonding (bcm5700 v8.1.55) When network traffic is ~12MB/sec (== ~120K packets/sec) CPU system load is growing up to 50-60%%. Yes, I know, that small packets (~100 bytes/packet) are not optimal for network throughput, but in the short-middle term I cannot re-write our application. Are there any network driver / kernel

Upgrade broke file locking
Prior to upgrading from RH7.0 to RH7.3 our Samba filserver worked perfectly. Now we are having locking problems. Initially Iused the same samba binaries built on RH70, I tried rebuilding Samba and reinstalling but it had no effect. If user bon opens an M$-Office file they frequently get a 'file is already in use by bob'. Sure enough smbstatus -L shows the file locked by bob, but bob
