increasing memory limit in Windows Server 2008 64-bit
Hello,
I'm working with a very large dataset in R on a computer running 64-bit
Windows Server 2008 Standard with 32GB of RAM. According to the R for
Windows FAQ, the maximum value allowed for max-mem-size is 4095MB. Is it
possible to run R with a higher memory limit on this system? I've tried
changing memory.limit() in the R console but it claims the system has a
4-GB address limit, which I don't believe to be the case here.
Thanks for your help.

So I have two parititons up to image end, and 64k block at the start.
I wanted to shrink the last partition by 1MB (for test, yeah). I shrank
the filesystem by 1MB but virt-resize refused to resize to 4095MB image
requesting ~2MB more (the numbers you can see in log attached). So I had
to shrink the filesystem by 4MB from original:

Problem booting xen 4.1.2 on Athlon 64 X2
Adding apic_verbosity=debug gives me that (hope nothing miss-typed as I
have no serial console on this box). I found a lot of suggested workarounds:
- noapic as suggested in output gives an noapic isn''t support
- acpi_skip_timer_override has no effect at all
Thx,

After double-clicking the shortcut (for modified 2.4.1 OR 2.6.1 OR 2.6.2) I get

etherbridge bottleneck
I ran some iperf tests today and it looks like the etherbridge
is the limiting factor on throughput. In the beforetime, I saw great
throughput to the VMs; over 800 Mbps. With the bridge, the numbers
are in the 400s somewhere.
Is this the speed I can expect from the bridge?
Is there some tuning I should try, or another way to get more bandwidth
into the VMs?
This is with xen-2.0, 2.4.27-xen0

xen, pvops & nvidia graphics
Hello all, this is my first post to the mailing list, so I hope this is the
right way to ask a question.
I''ve installed xen on my laptop (Asus N51Vf, specs here:
http://www.asus.com/product.aspx?P_ID=0Tc42s23bOdbbvY5), as I''m currently at
university and don''t have my proper desktop hardware to play with. The
laptop supports IOMMU/Vt-d and has one PCI-e Geforce GT130M
