Bug#676569: gcc-4.7: -nostdlib broken, multiarch library path always added
Package: gcc-4.7
Version: 4.7.0-12
Severity: serious
Justification: breaks unrelated software
The following scenario is broken: I would expect the link to fail.
This is a carefully nailed-down testcase to figure out that the
fault is with gcc not binutils.

Samba 4.7 package-aware print driver
Hi !
I have seen on Wiki that samba 4.7 print server is package-aware:
https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Automatic_Printer_Driver_Downloads_for_Windows_Clients
To use package-aware drivers:
- Run Samba 4.7 and later
- Enable the spoolssd service
Also in https://wiki.samba.org/index.php/Setting_up_Samba_as_a_Print_Server
Support package-aware Windows drivers.

[RFC] Increase minimum supported GCC version for building LLVM to 4.8
According to the documentation at
http://llvm.org/docs/GettingStarted.html#software, compiling LLVM with GCC
requires at least version 4.7.0. However, there are apparently several
problems building current LLVM/Clang with gcc 4.7.X. This proposal is to
increase the minimum required GCC to 4.8.
This is split off of the thread started here:

[LLVMdev] Dragonegg buildbots
It looks like dragonegg should have a single buildbot using gcc 4.7.
All others would be with 4.6 and 4.5. All the 4.5 and 4.6 ones went
red since we reject those compilers now.
The 4.7 one is trying to use gcc13, which is currently offline so we
now have 0 bot coverage for dragonegg. Can we drop the 4.5 and 4.6
bots and reuse one of the manchines for 4.7? Is there documentation
somewhere on how

upgrading DC 4.5.x to 4.7.x
Hello,
I have couple of samba 4.5.10 AD DC running that I've been planning to upgrade to 4.7.latest
I"ve done upgrades previously (from 4.3), so I know the procedure, but I've been checking on samba list regularly, and I see some people having issues after update, mainly with replication. So how safe is it now? Are there still known issues? Should i upgrade 4.5 -> 4.6 -> 4.7 or
