wrong answer for simple expressions
I am experiencing strange (to me) output when trying to do simple calculations. Expressions that should equal zero yield non-zero values. Examples: > a <- 4.1-3.1 > b <- 5.1-4.1 > a-b [1] -4.440892e-16 > (4.1-3.1)-(5.1-4.1) [1] -4.440892e-16 When this last expression is expanded, I get the right answer: > 4.1-3.1-5.1+4.1 [1] 0 I am using the binary packaged version

I know how many kernels there were in each spikelet after some months spent counting them... Now I want to illustrate the differences between the

4.1 being dropped from mirrors
Hi guys, Just to let everyone know that the CentOS 4.1 tree will be dropped from the mirrors shortly, since 4.2 has now been out for a week. If anyone has their yum config's hardwired to point at 4.1 - those config's will now stop working. CentOS 4.1
Question about differences in RHEL 4.1 and CentOS 4.1 organization. Does CentOS follows same organization as RHEL? I don't see separate directory for 4.1 on Red Hat's ftp server (well, the public part of it, with SRPM packages), seems like all the updates were simply dumped into the 4.0 updates area, so basically doing normal system upgrade will bump all RHEL 4.0 systems to 4.1. Samba 4.1 on CentOS 7
Hi Guys, I have a samba 4.0.3 running in a CentOS 6.4 and I want to install samba 4.1 in a new CentOS 7 server. Should I use the samba-4.1 rpm provided by CentOS or download, compile and install it from samba repositories? Which is better and why? Finally, How can I migrate domain and users data files from samba 4.0.3 to 4.1 ? Thanks, Edison
