When I do attempt filling in blanks in my knowledge regarding PRESS, I am reminded by MarkMail that this question came up 5-6 years ago and I went looking for an answer:

I haven't found anything and recent attempts from my side weren't
succefull so far.

Plot survival analysis with time dependent variables
Dear all,
Is there an implementation of Simon & Makuch method of plotting the survival function with time-dependent variables. I?m only able to find event.chart in Hmisc for the purpose and I would prefer the Simon and Makuch method. I believe stata has it implemented for this purpose, but I cannot find it on CRAN.

Also https://www.r-project.org/posting-guide.html indicates that
RSiteSearch() within R searches R-help but in my install (3.4.3)

While using R CMD check I get the following Latex error message which occurs when creating PDF version of manual:
LaTex error: File `inconsolata.sty' not found
I am using Windows 7 (64-bit) and R 3.0.1. I have MikTex 2.9.
I see that the incosolata.sty is present under \doc\fonts folder. How can I eliminate this problem?
Thanks,
Ravi

I am new to this listand am unable to get the search tools listed on

1. The google search box on http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/~rking/R/
returns a 404 error.
2. The http://finzi.psych.upenn.edu/ site has many references but I
don't see how to search r-help from there.
