Does ANYONE know why a directory listing from the MSDOS box of a Windows9x/Me client of a Samba 3 share on Linux not show the long filenames as well as the mangled form? This works on Samba 2.2.3. Could somebody tell me what is wrong. When I try to give permission to a share made under Win98 to specific user (Samba works as Domain Controller and Win98 logs into DOMAIN) there is an error - user list is unreachable - try later - This is translation from my language so this isn't exact error message. Samba works as Domain Controller and WINS server. Thanks Szmoyn.
