Trouble doing a remote shutdown of a linux machine through samba
Is it possible to shutdown a Linux computer through Samba using the
shutdown command in Windows XP and 2003? I've tried:
shutdown /r /m hostname
This doesn't work and results in Windows reporting "The remote procedure
call failed.' in the command window. The Samba log shows the following:

utc
I''m having a helluva time getting Date.today.utc to resolve -
"undefined method `utc'' for #<Date: 4908343/2,0,2299161>"
model usage in before_create filter is :
activated_at = Date.today.utc
I''m not stubbing out Date (should I be? [ stub(Date, :utc =>
Date.today) didn''t help any ].
The before filter is working fine within the app, but

Problem with UL followed by OL
I got a problem with UL followed by by OL
when I using perl module "Text-Markdown-1.0.5".
I wrote the following markdown code.

I expected that Text-Markdown would produce the following HTML.
<ul>

Indexing Mail faster
Hi,
I am trying to get faster search results on our webmail client(Roundcube).
Besides using Lucene for FTS are there other options?
Would having all mails indexed give fast results?
Currently the time it takes to search 25,000mails is 4mins. If indexed how
much faster are we looking at?
Really appreciate if someone could advise about this.
Thanks
Kevin

Help required regarding IPRA and Local Function optimization
Hello Mentors,
I am currently finding bug in Local Function related optimization due to
which runtime failures are observed in some test cases, as those test cases
are containing very large function with recursion and object oriented code
so I am not able to find a pattern which is causing failure. So I tried
following simple case to understand expected behavior from this
optimization.
