Integration with a Siemens HiCom 150E / HiPath 3750
Hi * :-)
I found in the online WiKi docs some information on how to integrate
Asterisk with "old PBX"...
http://www.voip-info.org/wiki-Asterisk+legacy+integration
...but I couldn't find anything on integration with a Siemens HiCom
150E. Later on we'll migrate to a HiPath 3750 so information covering
this model would be nice too...
Do you know if any of the PBX listed on the link above are similar
somehow to the Siemens I mention in terms of integration with Asterisk?
Answers much appreciated.

Connecting Asterisk to Siemens Hipath 3750
Hello all,
I am trying to connect asterisk to a Siemens Hipath 3750 PBX system.
I have a physical connection issue. I know that I should use a crossover
RJ48 cable to link the two systems. The problem however is that the physical
interface of the Siemens system is very unfamiliar. From my digging around,
I think that this is an S2M interface.

OK. There are a couple of things:
Aug 23 21:47:18 ts130 postfix/smtpd[3750]: warning: hostname localhost does not resolve to address 127.0.0.1
Aug 23 21:47:18 ts130 postfix/smtpd[3750]: connect from unknown[127.0.0.1]
That needs to be fixed. What does the entry for 127.0.0.1 look like in
/etc/hosts? Have you also defined ::1 to be localhost in /etc/hosts?

CUPS integration does not work properly when not linked

without linking it should work fine, however, it doesn't.
/etc/printcap contains:

This is the printer I set up via CUPS. I can print to it using the CUPS web
interface (print test page).
My /usr/local/samba/lib/smb.conf looks like:

Asterisk against 3 Com NBX 100 and Siemens HiPath 3700/3750
My new company is going to enter a bid competing with 3Com and Siemens
solutions from others.
Voice service is a PRI T-1 with a block of 100 DID numbers, a second T1 that
will carry Integrated voice/data, 12 voice/768K for redundency.
I asked this a week or two ago, now I have more details.

Some switch hardware can generate the packets directly, negating the need
for a box on every VLAN. Meraki hardware can do it, but you have to go
through the dashboard so automating it isn't currently possible.
Here is some documentation on forwarding WoL on catalyst 3750 switches from
Cisco:

plot.lm mislabels points with na.exclude (PR#3750)
R 1.7.1 on Windows XP
The "normal Q-Q plot" produced by plot.lm() mislabels points
when the model is fitted using na.action=na.exclude. Example:
x <- 1:50
y <- x + rnorm(50)
y[c(5,10,15)] <- NA # insert some NA's
y[40] <- 50 # add an outlier
plot(lm(y ~ x, na.action=na.omit)) # outlier correctly labeled in all
# four plots

Centos box and Cisco 3750 VLAN's
Hello all,
I have a CentOS box that has a NIC (eth0) on which I defined 4 VLAN's
(counting the NIC itself): eth0, eth0.1, eth0.2 and eht0.3. Initially the
Cisco switch was not partitioned into VLAN's which means that the only VLAN
running on it was the default one (VLAN 1).
I have then played with VLAN's a bit on the switch and at this point have
two: VLAN 1 (which is default and can

Labelling a secondary axis in R
Hello,
How can I label a secondary axis in R? At the moment it's labelled as
c(-100,200). Obviously I would like it to be more sensible.
Here is the code I am using
newx = -100+37.5*((1:9)-1)
axis(4,at=newx,labels=(newx+100)/3750)
Thanks,
Rob

Wifi - Managed access points...
...most 8 APs
and 20-30 wifi phones.
And after some research, I still having some questions ...
1) Are Managed Access Points (and switch controllers) really important to
implement good wifi woip (w/ low latency and acceptable handover time) ?
2) What is the difference between (3com WX1200 + 3com AP 3750) and
(DES-1228P + DWL-3140AP) ???
3) 3com says their AP implements WMM ... and DLink says they priorize VoIP
traffic based on VLAN ... are those methods the same ?
Thank you,
Luis A P Barbosa

VLAN issue
Hello all,
I have a machine running Centos 6.6 connected to a port on a Cisco Catalyst
3750 series switch. That port is part of VLAN 48. I have VLAN 48 on the
CentOS machine too.
The IP network on VLAN 48 is 192.168.48.0/255.255.255.0. The address on the
CentOS side is 192.168.48.101, the address on the Linux end ought to be
192.168.48.100.
When I only bring up eth0.48 VLAN device with...

[PATCH] Accurate vcpu weighting for credit scheduler
Hi,
This patch intends to accurate vcpu weighting
for CPU intensive job.
The reason of this problem is that
vcpu round-robin queue blocks large weight vcpus
by small weight vcpus.
For example, we assume following case on 2pcpu environment.
(with 4domains (each domain has 2vcpus))
dom1 vcpu0,1 w128 credit 4
dom2 vcpu0,1 w128 credit 4
dom3 vcpu0,1 w256 credit 8
dom4 vcpu0,1 w512 credit 15
