File size limit?
...when I try to mount an w2k share in this machine using smbmount, I can't see big files correctly. I suspect that the problem happens with files bigger then 2GB. I have a file in the w2k machine that's 4GB size, and when I mount the share in the linux machine, I see that file with just about 360MB! First I tried with smbfs 2.2.3 that comes with the distro. After a I tried with version 2.2.8 that's avaiable at samba site as a debian package. Finally I tried with 'unstable' version "2.999+3.0" that debian provides. Had the same results with all of them. Any help? Thank...

firewall issue
I'm running a icecast-ices server on my isp connection at home. I've two pcs (duron 700/512Mb RAM and a k6-2 350/360Mb RAM), a optical fiber 10MBit connection but...I'm connected to the internet through a NAT router which I can't configure (all incomings connections aren't mapped) so in theory I can't run servers on any kind.. Is there a cheap solution for this problem, I'm guessing here sin...

swap being used?
I have a machine with 64GB of memory in our lab. We have memory demanding processes and natually swap gets used. However when these processes are gone and the system is idle, we still see swap being used. Is this normal behavior? TIA

ICECAST ADMINistration
Hi everyone ! We are a group of 8 students working (as a scolar work) on ICECAST and we have thought that it would be a good thing to provide an administration web interface implemented via SSL and are actually working on it. We have thought of several things this interface could do : - reconfigure parts of the XML config file (depending on what are the rights that the logged administrator has)

B62 AHCI and ZFS
Hardware Supermicro X7DAE (AHCI BIOS) dual Intel Woodcrest processors, 6 x Western Digital Raptor SATA drives. I have installed b62 running 64 bit succesfully on a PATA drive. The BIOS is configured to access the SATA drives in native mode using hte AHCI Bios. I have 6 SATA II drives accessed via the Solaris AHCI driver. I have created a ZFS file system across all 6 drives. This works fine until
