Maxtor NAS share problem
...ry and use rsync to do a backup rsync fails with a message about failing to change owner. Digging a little deeper into the problem I find that the directories/files on the share all look something like the following drwxr-xr-x 1 35000 root 0 2008-02-12 15:21 ArchiveOnLinux drwxrwxrwx 1 35003 root 0 2008-04-22 01:01 Public -rwxrw-rw- 1 35000 root 1127239 2008-02-28 11:28 gw_rn_vp_grey.pdf which ISN'T the user (or group) I would have expected it to be mounted as. httpd and krb5.conf
I've noticed that SELinux blocks httpd (standard CentOS httpd, simply installed from RPM) from writing to krb5.conf file. Question. Why on earth would httpd need write access to krb5.conf file?! Sure, it might need read access if it is configured to use Kerberos for authentication, but write!? I mean, web server that modifies one of the critical files (which is used for

Invisible names problem
I ran into strange behavior when removing names. Two ways of removing names: i <- rep(1:4, length.out=20000) k <- c(a=1, b=2, c=3, d=4) x1 <- unname(k[i]) x2 <- k[i] x2 <- unname(x2) Are they identical? identical(x1,x2) # TRUE but no identical(serialize(x1,NULL),serialize(x2,NULL)) # FALSE But problem is with serialization type 3, cause:

[LLVMdev] MergeFunctions: reduce complexity to O(log(N))
Hi Stepan, Sorry for the delay. It's great that you are working on MergeFunctions as well and I agree, we should definitely try to combine our efforts to improve MergeFunctions. Just to give you some context, the pass (with the similar function merging patch) is already being used in a production setting. From my point of view, it would be better if we focus on improving its capability
