LME with 2 factors with 3 levels each
Hello. I am new to R and new to linear mixed effects modeling. I am trying to model some data which has two factors. Each factor has three levels rather than continuous data. Specifically, we measured speech at Test 1, Test 2 and Test 3. We also had three groups of subjects: RepTP, RepNTP and NoRepNTP.
I am having a really hard time interpreting this data since all the examples I have seen

scatterplot3d
Dear R-help,
I am having trouble with your scatterplot3d program. For help with this
problem I was directed to your address by Martin Maechler at "
r-core-bounces at r-project.org." I'm also sending a CC to "
r-core-owner at r-project.org" as I'm not yet certain of the proper address to
use for this.
I have R version 2.8.1 and have downloaded 'scatterplot3d.'

Doubled up RAM to 32 GB - now how to speed up a LAPP server?
Dear CentOS users,
I run a small Facebook game at a CentOS 6.3 machine
with PostgreSQL 8.4.3 + few PHP scripts + 1 Perl daemon
and even though the server worked ok,
I've suggested my users to double up the RAM
to 32 GB and they have collected money for that.
Now my problem is that I don't know, which knob
to turn and how to really use the additional memory.
Below is my top output at the

nomianl response model
Is there a way to estimate a nominal response model?
To be more specific let's say I want to calibrate:
\pi_{v}(\theta_j)=\frac{e^{\xi_{v}+\lambda_{v}\theta_j}}{\sum_{h=1}^m
e^{\xi_{h}+\lambda_{h}\theta_j}}
Where $\theta_j$ is a the dependent variable and I need to estimate
$\xi_{h}$ and $\lambda_{h}$ for $h \in {1...,m}$.
Thank you,
Mauricio Romero
