[3.7.1 Release] -final has been tagged.
Hi,
I've tagged the final version of 3.7.1. There is no difference from
3.7.1-rc2, so testers just need to build the packages no testing is
required.

Hi,
There was one problem in -rc1, so we had to do another release

Request to merge r242372 into the 3.7 branch: Fix for C API incompatibility between 3.6 and 3.7.
We covered this particular patch a bit at the C API BoF at the conference,
and I think the general opinion is that this was just an unintentional bug
and that fixing it is in 3.7.1 is the best solution forward.
I'll send out more on the C API BoF as I get out from under a pile of email.

3.7.1 release cancelled?
Has it been decided to skip 3.7.1 and just wait until 3.8.0? I keep
checking but never see any update on the web site to allow downloading
3.7.1 tar files.

Assertion isUniqued() failure
I'm upgrading my application to use LLVM 3.7.1 instead of 3.5.1.
On one of my regression tests I am getting an assertion:
/home2/djones/llvm-3.7.1.src/lib/IR/Metadata.cpp:490: void
llvm::MDNode::resolve(): Assertion `isUniqued() && "Expected this to be
uniqued"' failed.
This occurs when finalizing debug info prior to code generation:

Maybe it's just the holidays... AFAIK, all the packages were tested
and uploaded.

3.7.1-rc1 has been tagged. Let's begin testing!
John removed the assertion in his major alignment tracking patch. I
manually did that on the branch in r253380.

[3.7.1 Release] -final has been tagged.
Hi Tom,
I followed a bit the mailing-list but still see no LLVM v3.7.1 tarballs.
Can you pleas take care of this?
In case of that i386 breakage do a new v3.7.2 release, please.
Not sure if this has impact on x86_64 (AMD64)?
Thanks.

Are the mips failures regressions? I haven't started building/testing polly yet so I don't know the current state of mips support for it.

Hmm, the clang+llvm-3.7.1-x86_64-sles11.3-linux-gnu.tar.xz tarball I
uploaded doesn't seem to have made it on to this releases dir. I'm still a
bit new to the process, is there a step that I skipped?

Hi,
I have just tagged 3.7.1-rc1, so it is ready for testing. As a
reminder, when doing regression testing, use the 3.7.0 release
as your baseline.
Thanks,

DWARF gotchas moving from 3.7.1 to 3.9.0
I recently upgraded a codebase to use LLVM 3.9.0, up from 3.7.1.
All seems to work well, except that I am unable to generate debug
information.
However, if I run objdump -g on the generated object file, it reports that
the compile unit has no children:

Building LLVM 3.7.1 on OS X
Hello,
I haven't found any relevant info in the docs about this. I'm trying to
build LLVM 3.7.1 on OS X but it fails in the configuration phase. Here
are the relevant parts of the output:
