RE: Fix for SMP xen dom0/domU for x86_64
The Patch I made for SMP dom0 is also applicable to SMP domU. The issue is same for dom0 & domu as they both are compiled from the same code. The dom0 fix I sent earlier also fixes the domU SMP issue. A very big matrix inside a function
Dear listers: As a part of a intermediate process, I need to use and modify a very big matrix (some 30000x30000) inside the body of a function. If the matrix is defined in the function, R shows a error message "Cannot allocate vector of size 6.7 Gb". But if I define the matrix before the function is called (as soon as the dimension can be calculated) R can allocate it. The problem is

Problem with graphics on latest CentOS 6
Am I the only one seeing this issue? Or is it that so few people are still running CentOS 6.x? Quick summary, on a very recent Dell motherboard using the on-board vide and booting the latest CentOS 6 kernel with the ?vga=xxx? parameter set to any non-default value results in unusable X11 graphics. I am unable to boot Dom0 on my IBM eServer BladeCenter HS20, type 8843, EMT64 blades. I have read reports that Dom0 boots on Opteron boxes, but on my EMT64 blades, it does not.
