SYSLINUX 3.55-pre5 and 3.60-pre7 - RC status
Hi all, I have just pushed out SYSLINUX 3.55-pre5 and 3.60-pre7. I have decided to give them both release candidate status, with the intent of having a simultaneous 3.55 (bug fixes only) and 3.60 (new functionality) release. Please test them out and let me know how they do. -hpa

df with max function applied to 6 lags of a variable?!?
Hello everyone! I have a data frame of 136 variables with 270 observations. I would like to create a new data frame such that each element of that data frame contains the maximum value of the 6 prior lags of the initial data frame. So for example, if my original data frame, A, were A1=c(7.72, 7.94, 7.56, 7.54, 0.93, 0.59, 7.21, 8.00, 7.19, 7.57)A2=c(4.27, 3.70, 3.80, 3.67, 3.83, 3.95, 4.02, 2.06,

samba 3.60 vs Windows 7 and a PDC replacement
Hi, I am scratching my hair a bit with a situation to replace a Windows SBS with something more usable and less rubbish :) I have 2 basic queries: 1.) With samba 3.60 do I still need to the registry hack on windows 7 to join the domain? 2.) Could I simple kill the SBS box, and advertise my smb as the existing domain. (Obviously creating the same users, and possibly manually adding all the

Suspect error in windows version of 3.60
Gentlemen, I've observed a suspected bug in R-3.60 for Windows 10. I am using the latest R version, but I have observed the same error in all releases: alpha, beta RC and released. Also the same issue occurs in the 32 and 64 bit GUI versions. The program header I invoke is: R version 3.6.0 Patched (2019-04-26 r76431) -- "Planting of a Tree" Copyright (C) 2019 The R

SYSLINUX 3.60-pre4 released
I have just pushed out SYSLINUX 3.60-pre4. I have deferred the gPXE integration branch to a later release, since it looks like the gPXE folks are stalled on their end. Highly unfortunately, because it's cool stuff. What I *do* have, however, is support for a small amount of storage in the boot loader -- currently only implemented for EXTLINUX, but the infrastructure is there for all of

SYSLINUX 3.60-pre6 released; help wanted
I have patched up the boot-once support added in 3.60-pre4 so that I now feel that it should be pretty safe it won't get invoked by mistake (famous last words, I know.) I have also pulled in the man pages from the Debian project. Unfortunately some of them are pretty out of date; I have done a first pass of touching them up, but there is still a fair bit of work that could be done. For

plotting Principle components vs individual variables.
Dear R, I'm trying to plot the first principle component of an analysis vs the first variable but am having trouble. I have no trouble doing the initial plot but have difficulty thereafter. Question about gfx_boot patch for syslinux
SLES10's syslinux 3.11 has included two gfx_boot patches. My question is: Has syslinux mainline (e.g., 3.60 right now) integrated the two patches? FYI. SLES10's syslinux 3.11 source code is in http://demeter.uni-regensburg.de/SLES10-x86/suse/src/syslinux-3.11-20.3.src.rpm, I care about the two gfx_boot patches because my machine can not boot if the two patches are applied and boot

At the cost of breaking the thread I'm going to change your subject and replace 'Principle' by 'Principal'. I just can't stand it any longer... OK, here is how I would solve your other problems. First put > wh <- c("USA", "New Zealand", "Dominican Republic", "Western Samoa", "Cook Islands") > ind
