Cisco 7941G & Auth
Hi, I use Asterisk-1.4.22-3 (on Trixbox) and I have a problem with Cisco
7941G with firmware SIP41.8-0-2SR1S (but also with SIP41.8-3-1S), my problem
is that Cisco phone isn't authenticated on Asterisk.
In tftp directory I have:

cnu41.3-1-1-15.sbn
copstart.sh
cvm41sip.8-0-1-18.sbn

Cisco 7961 new firmware stops reading configuration files
Hello,
I have been running SIP41.8-2-2SR4S firmware on the Cisco 7961 and have
recently upgraded to SIP41.8-3-2SR1S to add the DND button on the front
of the phone and also to hopefully resolve some issues with the phones
not registering after a long period.
Once we upgraded the phones now display "Error Verifying Config Info" in
the Status messages and will not process the configuration file.

Cisco 7970 problems
Has anyone had problems with a Cisco 7970 running sip image
SIP70.8.0-2SR1S hanging up zap channels?
Calls to SIP and IAX are fine. Just when the call goes out via the zap
channels
I have some Cisco 7960 running SIP and they work fine.
Any ideas?
Thanks

Registering Cisco 7942G IP phone with Asterisk!.
Hi,
?
We are new to IP phone firmware upgradation (Sorry if it is a re-post of previous question(s)).
?
Recently we have bought a cisco 7942G IP phone.
It currently has SIP 42.9-0-2SR1S firmware loaded on it.
We do not see any option to configure a SIP Proxy where we can provide SIP Server (Asterisk PC/Device)? IP address (with current firmware on it) to register it with Asterisk.
?
Do we need to upgrade the SIP firmware to any latest versions?
If yes, to which version we should b...

A classic cause of this is callprogress=yes or busydetect=yes in

Cisco 7971G-GE & SEP{MAC}.cnf.xml
I have been forced to introduce a Cisco 7971G-GE into my network, because
"it has a pretty screen." I have wasted nearly three days fighting with the
thing based upon the information on voip-info.org and a few other forums.
Asterisk is reporting a 401 Unauthorized. Which typically means bad
username/password combination. Unfortunately, all of the usernames and
passwords I see in
