ext3 patch for 2.4.6 (plain or ac1)
Does the ext3 patch applies on top of the newly released 2.4.6 kernel (and/or the 2.4.6-ac1 variant) ? I want to upgrade to the new kernel and wanted to know before I run into problems if there are any known problems and if it's better to wait for an 'official' release. Thanks. [LLVMdev] Handling of pointer difference in llvm-gcc and clang
Hi, We are developing a bounded model checker for C/C++ programs (http://baldur.iti.kit.edu/llbmc/) that operates on LLVM's intermediate representation. While checking a C++ program that uses STL containers we noticed that llvm-gcc and clang handle pointer differences in disagreeing ways. Consider the following C function: int f(int *p, int *q) { return q - p; } Here's the

Bandwidth and latency requirements
Hi all I've googled but can't find an answer to my question. I have two data centers. Currently, I have a replica (count of 2 plus arbiter) in one data center but is used by both. I want to change this to be a distributed replica across the two data centers. There is a 20Mbps pipe and approx 22 ms latency. Is this sufficient? I really don't want to do the geo-replication in its

And what caused the "ext2fs_check_if_mount: No such file or directory while determining whether" messages ? ext2 is compiled as a module, but isn't in /proc/modules. All partitions use ext3 in /etc/fstab. -- 0@pervalidus.{net, {dyndns.}org} Tel: 55-21-2717-2399 (Niteri-RJ BR)
