plotting sorted factors
Hello, The problem is that the factors are not orderd by the row number. If you want to check their order, use str(sortdata) and you'll see Santa-Rosa was attributed factor level 4 (in the output, first variable, the 3rd and 4th). Try the following. sortdata <- read.table(text=" county year x1 x2 x3 x4 x5 x6 x7 rank 141 Escambia 2002 6.50

Proxying LMTP - Auth PASS lookup failed
I'm trying to configure my proxy/director server, which proxies imap/pop/managesieve correctly already, to proxy LMTP to my backend message store server (dovecot+postfix already configured there) This is what I have so far: 10-auth.conf using auth-static.conf.ext instead of auth-ldap.conf.ext (switching to this made proxying imap/pop/managesieve work) 10-director.conf protocol lmtp {

Resliver making the system unresponsive
This must be resliver day :) I just had a drive failure. The hot spare kicked in, and access to the pool over NFS was effectively zero for about 45 minutes. Currently the pool is still reslivering, but for some reason I can access the file system now. Resliver speed has been beaten to death I know, but is there a way to avoid this? For example, is more enterprisy hardware less susceptible to

io writes very slow when using vmware server
We are struggling with a strange problem. When we have some VMWare clients running (mostly MS windows clients), than the IO-write performance on the host becomes very bad. The guest os's do not do anything, just having them started, sitting at the login prompt, is enough to trigger the problem. The host has plenty of 4G of RAM, and all clients fit easily into the space. The disksystem is a

Correlation Matrix with a Covariate
R Help - I'm trying to run a correlation matrix with a covariate of "age" and will at some point will also want to covary other variables concurrently. I'm using the "psych" package and have tried other methods such as writing a loop to extract semi-partial correlations, but it does not seem to be working. How can I accomplish this? library(psych) > set.cor(y =
