Asterisk BT100 Password Issue
Hi,
I am getting the following error when I attempt to listen to voice
messages by dialing 9999 (I can hear nothing):

--Playing 'vm-password' (language 'en')
WARNING: app_voicemail.c:4922 vm_authentication: Unable to read

I read in previous posts that this may be to do with the dtmf settings
and have set both (asterisk and BT100) to info. This...

smbd's using up 100% of all cpu's and load avg slowly going up
Hi,
I'm having problems in a second domain controller machine. Every time a
restart samba, few time after a samba process starts using almost 100% cpu.
It's a Centos 6.5 x86_64 with the following:
sernet-samba-libsmbclient0-4.1.6-7.el6.x86_64
sernet-samba-ad-4.1.6-7.el6.x86_64

Incoming PSTN Calls - Stumped
...te an
entry for them in sip.conf I set only one context. Also to allow for
incoming calls from my provider it seems I must direct the calls
firstly to a ?dummy? extension.
sip.conf
register => username:password@provider.ie/2093
[provider-in]
type=peer
host=sip.provider.ie
context=onecontext
[2092]
type=peer
other stuff
context=onecontext
So the dummy extension here is ?2093? and 2092 is a phone who
registers with SER and when SER redirects to Asterisk uses the
?onecontext? context.
Now in my extensions.conf ?onecontext? includes other contexts. This
is how I get access to conference calls...

Very strange permission problem: samba on zfs-fuse
...ondary member of 'userlab' group.
(usermod -G userlab user1, etc)
The problem I have is that after some time, some users begin
experiencing permission denied when try to put files or create
directories on the samba share.
smbd.log shows:

confusion about contexts - SER
...siion lies.... you DON'T set up the ALL contexts the users will have acces to in sip.conf, in this file you will only set 1 single context. All other contexts you want the users to have acces to, you will have to add them in the extensions.conf
So what you have to do is the following:
-user 2092, set it the createmenu context in sip .conf
- in extensions.conf under the "createmenu" context add as many "include" lines as you need the user to have acces to.
it should look something like:
; sip.conf
[2092]
type=friend
username=2092
canreinvite=no
context= create...
