Memory problem in R
...am running an -MNP- multinomial probit model package using R. It gives me the following objection instead of giving me the results: Erreur : impossible d'allouer un vecteur de taille 137.9 Mo (in english: cannot allocate a 137.9 Mb vector memory).  I have already increased the memory size upto 2047Mb. This problem has been discussed in 2008 (archives) but no profitable answers were delievered. I am sending the programming and bit of data. Thanks in advance for your help. model<-mnp(choice~1+Asso+FP+BEV+IAA+CER+FrtVeg+Meat+Others+lnADH+lnTO+Emp+LT50inReg+lnEXinEU+lnEXoutEU+GDist+RET+WS+LT50S...

infinite amount of data for HTB burst
...ns" for class (10:2 p2p) becomes negative and so the actual rate stays 140kbit/s (instead of 240kbit/s). After reading the manual page again, I added the "burst 1mb" parameter to this class, and it worked until 1 megabyte was uploaded. However, I couldn''t specify "burst 2047mb": the TCP upload went virtually dead, and I saw very ugly values in the output of tc -s -d class show dev $DEV (integer overflows, maybe?). I got the impression from http://luxik.cdi.cz/~devik/qos/htb/manual/userg.htm that I wouldn''t need "burst" at all. However, withou...

etherbridge bottleneck
I ran some iperf tests today and it looks like the etherbridge is the limiting factor on throughput. In the beforetime, I saw great throughput to the VMs; over 800 Mbps. With the bridge, the numbers are in the 400s somewhere. Is this the speed I can expect from the bridge? Is there some tuning I should try, or another way to get more bandwidth into the VMs? This is with xen-2.0, 2.4.27-xen0

correct procedure for reporting kernel problems?
I''ve had domU''s hickup a few times with latest unstable, and I guess this can be expected. Is there a procedure in place to report these problems? For exampe: Unable to handle kernel paging request at virtual address c12b46c0 printing eip: cpanel cpanel.mydomain c02555f7 *pde = ma 7e9fc067 pa 00002067 *pte = ma 00000000 pa 55555000 Oops: 0002 [#1] PREEMPT SMP Modules
