Should ValueTracking::GetUnderlyingObject stop on Alloca instructions rather than calling SimplifyInstruction?
I notice that GetUnderlyingObject has a few checks, but alloca isn't one of them. Then it fall backs to SimplifyInstruction which doesn't know about alloca so falls back to just trying to constant fold it. This seems a little silly since I assume alloca can't be constant folded. Should we just detect this early in GetUnderlyingObject and stop? ~Craig -------------- next part

The corresponding line does not exist, and it is in fact, wrong :) C11 says nothing like that. C++14 says: "The lifetime of an object of type T begins when: — storage with the proper alignment and size for type T is obtained, and — if the object has non-trivial initialization, its initialization is complete. The lifetime of an object of type T ends when: — if T is a class type with a

[PATCH v3 10/10] drm/nouveau: Enable stereoscopic 3D output over HDMI
Enable stereoscopic output for HDMI and DisplayPort connectors on NV50+ (G80+) hardware. We do not enable stereoscopy on older hardware in case there is some older board that still has HDMI output but for which we have no logic for setting the Vendor InfoFrame. With this, I get an obvious 3D output when using the "testdisplay" program from intel-gpu-tools with the "-3"
