Directory listings not working
Hello, I just finished installing gluster on two machines in server mode in EC2. I have mounted it via fuse on one of the boxes. Here is my volume info: # gluster volume info Volume Name: fast Type: Stripe Status: Started Number of Bricks: 2 Transport-type: tcp Bricks: Brick1: server1:/data2 Brick2: server2:/data All of this works great, and I can write files at a fairly high throughput.

[LLVMdev] replacing a global variable by a constant
Hi nada, > i want replacing a global variable by a constant value for erase instruction. I'm not sure what you mean exactly. A GlobalVariable has pointer type. Do you want to replace that pointer by a constant pointer? Or is it rather that you want to say that the contents of the memory pointed to by the GlobalVariable is constant, and have all places that load that GlobalVariable

Sweave and bibliographies
I added a bibliographic reference to one of my .Rnw documents, to wit: \begin{thebibliography}{9} \bibitem{Jose} Jos{\'{e}} C. Pinheiro and Douglas M. Bates, \emph{Mixed-Effects Models in S and S-PLUS}, Springer, 2000. \end{thebibliography} just before the \end{document}. When I run Sweave on the result these lines disappear without a trace. Is this intentional? Subquestion: is

Estimating backup usage with dir-merge filter
I use --filter='dir-merge .backup-filter" to allow my users to designate portions of their home directories that should be excluded from my rsync-based backup system. I'm looking for a way to periodically generate a report that shows the amount of backup space being used by each user. I've tinkered with writing my own script that processes any filter files into --exclude
