Multiplexing bug on client exit
Hi,
With the 20100127 snapshot, there appears to be a bug in the
multiplexing support that causes the master to die under some
circumstances when a slave session exits.
The error messages that I am getting are:
cfe1.imorgan> exit
Connection to cfe1 closed.

Bug#564693: logcheck: should suggest/recommend nail
Package: logcheck
Version: 1.3.5
Severity: minor
Hi,
reading logcheck source it seems that it requires nail for MAILATTACH to work,
however it is not suggested/recommended.
(JFTR it is debatable if nail is appropriate or something else should be used)

Bug#566107: logcheck-database: with violations.d/logcheck empty most rules in violations.ignore.d look useless
Package: logcheck-database
Version: 1.3.5
Severity: normal
Hi,
I was having a look at logcheck and why I received a "verification failed:
Temporary failure in name resolution" as a _system_ message.
Turns out that since violations.d/logcheck is empty now, most of the rules in
violations.ignore.d look quite useless, can you confirm?
I suspect that a big part of those rules should be

Configuration of hosts
I'm probably doing something I'm not supposed to even try, but I'm trying
for "proof of concept" before physically setting up a distant network
because of logistical issues.
Anyway, I have tincd running as a service on two windows machines on the
same lan. I'm trying to establish a connection between those two computers
on the vpn ip's (10.20.30.1 and 10.20.40.1).

problem with odfWeave
Hello,
I have encountered problems using odfdWeave. I actually have the same error
message as was reported in this message (
http://tolstoy.newcastle.edu.au/R/e6/help/09/01/0872.html), but I don't
quite understand the answer made by Max Kuhn ("You need to cat the results
using odfCAt, otherwise you are just writing the output with no XML around
it."). What I am supposed to do

[Bug 1704] New: sftp complains about -p command-line option
...riority: P2
Component: sftp
AssignedTo: unassigned-bugs at mindrot.org
ReportedBy: imorgan at nas.nasa.gov
Created an attachment (id=1784)

Add 'p' to the list of accepted command-line options
As of the 20100127 snapshot, the sftp(1) man page lists -p as a valid
command-line option, but sftp complains with the usage summary whenever
it is used. The problem is that 'p' is missing from the list of
accepted
switches in the getopt() statement.

Hi,
I know having Asterisk aware of Polycom "Do No Disturb" state wasn't working
before (1.4), but is this working in any recent version? Is there any
"custom" way of doing this?

Mitel integration
Hi,
A potential client (hotel) has a Property Management System that talks the
"Mitel" protocol to their current Mitel PBX in order to receive CDRs
(which end up being rated by the PMS system and charged back to guests).
Does anyone know of any (free or otherwise) docs on this protocol, or
better still have experience interfacing asterisk in a hotel situation
like this? The PMS
