Centering graphics by default in Sweave
Is there an elegant way to get Sweave to center graphics by default?
I'd like to use \centerline{\includegraphics{}} etc. to save some
vertical space that \begin{center} ... \end{center} uses, and I'd like
to avoid centering with each <<fig=T>>=
Thanks

Chris DiBona's passing comment on Theora + Youtube on the WhatWG list
Chris DiBona made an odd comment regarding Theora on the WhatWG list.
I am explicitly not calling for people to go sign up over there and
complain. Google has done many good things for open video, and I'm
sure they will continue to do so in the future.
I thought the comparison I did for my response would be interesting to
other people here:

python bindings to libtheora
Hi,
in the past two days I wrote Python bindings to libtheora:
http://github.com/certik/python-theora
Currently it can read any ogv file (that seems to work quite well) and
also encode to ogv (this mostly works, but there are some subtle
issues to be fixed, I suspect I still have some bug in the way I half
the dimensions of the Cb and Cr planes, so when you read ogv and write
ogv, the resulting

dovecot-antispam plugin and "Failed to call dspam" message
Hi,
I had this working until I recently upgraded Dovecot, and now I'm getting a message back from
Thunderbird of "Failed to call dspam." when I attempt to move a message into one of the designated
spam folders.
However, I know from looking at the dspam system.log file, the retraining actually happens - so it
-does- appear to be calling dspam. It appears that the 'move'

[LLVMdev] ML types in LLVM
Good afternoon!
I'm trying to write an LLVM codegen for a Standard ML compiler
(MLton). So far things seem to match up quite nicely, but I have hit
two sticking points. I'm hoping LLVM experts might know how to handle
these two cases better.
1: In ML we have some types that are actually one of several possible
types. Expressed in C this might be thought of as a union. The codegen
