xen hvc console
I had a quick try to make it work, but no success thus far. Should it be enough to apply the patch and then boot with "console=/dev/hvc0"? Also, why do you comment out the EARLY_PRINTK stuff in Kconfig? J

repeat downloads of message headers in 1.0rc19
I upgraded one server to 1.0rc19 (from rc15) over the weekend, and have since received several reports of dovecot erroneously retrieving older messages as new mail. I've seen this myself intermittently on KMail, and users have reported it on Thunderbird, Squirrelmail, and Outlook. I see some things in the archives that suggest that this was a problem in older 1.0 release candidates, but

Wiki to doc/ in tarball
So I finally started building a script that does it. Anyone interested in helping with it so that it produces readable output? First step is getting raw wiki pages. I'll do this directly by getting them from the filesystem. You can get them from here: http://dovecot.org/tmp/wikipages.tar.gz Next there's http://dovecot.org/tmp/wiki2txt.pl which is my horrible Perl script that kind of

domain truncated
Hi all, I have a problem with domain information being truncated from username during ldap search, so it can not be used in mail_location. This happens when user part of the username %n is used in pass_filter in passdb ldap search. When I use %u all username information remains and mailbox can be located. Here is my configuration. In dovecot.conf I have two locations one for system and one for

Jabber/Asterisk Integration
Started playing with 1.4 and I'm curious what uses people have come up with for the Jabber integration? So far I can think of presence based call routing, but I'm sure there are other ideas. How are YOU using the new Jabber features in 1.4? :) -- Kyle Sexton

DNIS on T1 channels
I installed a Sangoma card with the default install. I'm getting five digits of DNIS with each call. The T1 is setup ESF/B8ZS wink start. Each of the digits of the DNIS are being used for extensions in the context. I need a single extension that let me start an AGI script that can use the dnis. Can anyone point me in the right direction to do this? Thanks, David Ruggles CCNA MCSE (NT) CNA
