postfix + SMTP AUTH using DOVECOT AUTH DAEMON
hi ppl
I'm the new member of the list.
Looking at recent messages look like there is a way to do SMTP AUTH in
postfix using the Dovecot AUTH daemon. Currently my Dovecot installation
auth again PAM (local users) and a simple shadow file (for virtual
users, I plan to move to MYSQL later). I don't want to have different
databases one for dovecot a one for SASL.

Moving from 0.99 to 1.0-stable
What is involved in migrating from 0.99 to 1-stable? (I'd be creating a
FreeBSD port to work with, but the main question I have is what would need
to be done to configuration files.)
Thanks,
Jim

Three way calling with X-Lite / MeetMe
Hi All,
Does any one know of a way to make a three way call from Asterisk using
X-Lite.
I need the ability to be able to call someone on the PSTN using my IAX
provider then bring another person from a local extension into the call if
needs be?
I believe most three way calling is done using a feature of the phone, and
X-Lite doesn't look like it supports this. Can this be

Ah ha! Of course. That makes perfect sense. 12 of the failures are in
"CFrontend" and are dated 2005-01-02 through 2005-03-11. The remaining
three are:

strange email client problems
I've got some issues with dovecot, that I need to resolve, I only have
about 20 users in the office, but the average disk space used by each
user is anywhere from 1GB up to at the extreme end of the scale 7GB.
I'm using the mailbox format. The server is a P4 2.8 with a 1GB of ram
and run off 250GB SATA disks. most users have lots of structured
folders going as deep as 6 levels.

Pine and prefix - LIST command bug?
I've been having problems with Pine 4.62 talking to Dovecot 1.0 stable.
It's fine when the folder collection path is empty, but if I have
"~/mail/" or "mail/" it gives access errors (I'm using the "~/mail/",
"mail/" etc. hidden namespaces for backwards compatability).
It seems to me that Dovecot is not replying correctly to a "LIST"
